China’s Tech Brand vivo is one of the five largest smartphone manufacturers in the world. But in Germany, the name was previously known only to insiders. The official brand and product launch in Europe was kicked off end of October with an exclusive press and partner virtual event.
MUTABOR had won the pitch for the cooperation with vivo in a competition at the end of 2019 and developed preliminary concepts for the launch in Europe. For the market launch in Europe in October 2020, our Experience Design experts put together a digital launch event with around 600 invited guests: from the storyboard to the final implementation on a specially designated platform in six languages and live stream for a Q & A session. The live stream generated such positive feedback that Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the UK want to publish the event publicly.
From Asia to Europe – experience is needed

vivo is an official partner of UEFA EURO 2020 and EURO 2024; in this context, the brand will become even more visible in Europe.
The vivo market launch was already the second major digital event for us. It was preceded by the first virtual hybrid event for Daimler Commercial Vehicles in September 2020, replacing their established presence at the IAA Commercial Vehicles.
