In Clariant’s 2019 Integrated Report, the theme of »Progress« central to the concept from the beginning. Which trend issues are driving the market and people, and what is Clariant’s contribution?

We have interpreted it as follows: In a complex world of abundance, little is certain. One thing is needed above all else for genuine »progress«: orientation. – We have translated this idea into a design concept based on the visual and symbolic world of radar. To achieve this, unique designs of infographics and text highlights were transferred into the layout, including the radar look with the striking neon colour and the radar cross.

In 2019 Clariant and MUTABOR further developed the Annual Report. In the meantime, it has developed its own momentum, clearly shaping the brand image of the Swiss specialty chemicals company.

We have carefully developed the design elements that define the brand – from iconic black and white photography to bold typeface design.
