Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft and designxport join PAGE in looking for the best motion design portfolios. The event will take place on May 18.

We are very pleased to be participating in the format. Christian Neie, our Head of Motion Design, is representing us as a member of the expert jury.

Christian has been at MUTABOR since 2015 and has led the Motion Department since 2019 as Head of Motion Design. He is a passionate motion design artist with a keen eye for details. Together with his team, he develops everything that can be told even better in motion — from small logo animations to large show productions.

At the Portfolio Slam, students and recent graduates have the opportunity to learn what experts look for in a portfolio evaluation, as well as making contact with companies and other designers.

Three students or recent graduates present their portfolio on the digital stage and receive constructive feedback from the expert jury. Public viewers also learn from the live feedback and discover what the job description “motion design” is all about. In addition, they will have the opportunity to vote for the best slammer of the evening in an online poll.

All three featured portfolios will be presented to a broad audience on PAGE-Online after the event. The slam ends with a networking round, in which the audience has the opportunity to get to know the jury members digitally in small groups and to ask specific questions.

All recent graduates or employees in the design sector (up to five years after graduation), students or freelancers from Hamburg can apply until April 27.
