MUTABOR develops the first virtual hybrid event for Daimler commercial vehicles. Here is the inside scoop on our concept. Furthermore, everything is now online: Keynotes, Q&A sessions and more in-depth information.

1,500 accredited participants from around the world met on a custom platform

As a substitute for this year’s IAA commercial vehicles, Daimler Trucks & Buses presented its latest product highlights within a new, hybrid event format. Scheduled on the initial IAA press dates, about 60 journalists visited the corporation’s own client center right next to one of the truck production plants in Wörth on the Rhine. About 1,500 accredited participants joined the event off- and online on a custom-made digital platform.

Profound content meets technical sophistication

The motto »Shaping the Now & Next« provided the structure for the keynote, presenting all new products and highlights and laying out the technology roadmap for the upcoming years. The keynote speakers were staged in a virtual studio environment that could change its look and feel matching the respective topics.

The following DeepDive Sessions with on-site product experts are mirrored on the digital platform with a wide range of documents, chat functions and a virtual Q&A session.

Hybrid event as the best alternative for serving different needs

Together with the communications departments of Daimler Trucks & Buses and Mercedes-Benz Trucks, MUTABOR developed this event format to serve the still essential in-person contact. Likewise, it ensured the dialog with media representatives and markets worldwide against the background of limited travel opportunities.
