In addition to offerings related to cars, bikes and digitalization, the IAA Mobility invites visitors to a conference to discuss the best approach to the goal of climate-neutral mobility by 2050. The most important services related to the IAA have also been digitalized to comply with rules on distancing and COVID-19 for events.

Special features of the new IAA app

The new IAA app will provide added value for visitors with features such as ticketing, newshub, location guide, program planning and networking opportunities. Its standout features: the app learns which topics and brands a user is interested in based on their activity, and highlights appropriate content, exhibitors and program items. Exhibitors can digitally expand their stand using the IAA app by displaying their content, drawing attention to their program and offering services such as test drive booking or mobility services.

The new IAA app also supports automotive companies and mobility providers in marketing. Based on the experience of the VDA, 30 percent of all visitors have clear purchasing intentions, with an average investment of 65,000 euros for a passenger car. The cumulative purchasing power of all potential app users is thus around 8 billion euros. The app enables users to be addressed personally and presented with suitable offers.
