Mutabor takes a year’s time-out from the award scene

More than 350 prizes for creativity have been awarded to Mutabor since the agency was founded in 1998, including several Cannes Lions, the Red Dot Grand Prix and around 40 gold medals. This puts the agency at the top of the list of creative design agencies in Germany, where it has occupied a place among the leaders in the trade press creative rankings for many years now.

With this astounding track record, the agency is now taking a year’s time-out from the award scene as of September 2011 in order to press ahead with the development of its integrated multichannel brand design concept.

Heinrich Paravicini and Johannes Plass, founders and managing directors of Mutabor, talking about the break:

‘We are very proud of the way in which the agency has developed so successfully and of the confidence placed in us by our customers, which enables us to realize such creative projects. We shall therefore continue to maintain our strategy of producing excellent, award-winning design solutions as a brand design agency, but are allowing ourselves a breather after years of ranking among the leaders in our field. This time-out will give us the opportunity to focus our efforts on the development of multichannel design solutions for our customers.

The development of our integrated approach has priority now, along with the necessary investments. Nevertheless, we still believe in the importance and relevance of creative competitions and will definitely be returning to the award scene in the autumn of 2012.’
