The Shanghai Motor Show 2011 is the venue for the world premiere of the new BMW 6 Series Coupé, which is presented impressively in the film ‘Inspiration Flows’. When developing the new model’s design, Adrian van Hooydonk’s design team used a very special source of inspiration: the element of water, whose waves are both powerful and elegant. The film ‘Inspiration Flows’ effectively reflects this creative process. In doing so, it provides a visual reinterpretation of water as the central theme. Minimalist graphical elements, which absorb the beauty of the movement of water and gradually condense, successively bring the new model into being and make the brand’s dynamism tangible.
