At the Detroit Motor Show 2011, in line with the ‘design is the hero’ slogan, BMW is presenting this year’s highlight, the BMW 6-Series Convertible, which stands for aesthetics and design in a way unmatched by any other car. The vehicle is exhibited in front of an elegant and very striking constructional gesture, the helix. The presentation deliberately plays with formal contrasts: the sharp edges and layers contrast with the vehicle’s elegant, flowing shapes. The performance is given dynamism by the lighting show, which corresponds with the presentation projected onto the LED wall in front of the car. Additional movement is provided by the light show for the blades of the helix that give the stand a great and unmistakeable long-range effect.

As a further highlight BMW is presenting its 1-Series M Coupé, the style of whose presentation communicates a clear message: this model is 100% fit for the race track.
