Telekom Community Store 4010 opens in Cologne
In 2008, Mutabor Design developed ‘Konzept 4010’ for Deutsche Telekom as an alternative label for the new community stores. The first shop was the new ‘Concept-Store’ in the Berlin Mitte district, which received several awards. Mutabor is now continuing the brand’s success story:
the second community store opened on Ehrenstraße in Cologne on 9 February as a dialogue platform dovetailing the themes of community and shopping in an innovative store concept. The convertible store makes the brand tangible on an equal footing for urban youth by using showcases, readings and workshops while authentically embodying Telekom’s claim: experiencing the things that bond. As well as the store concept, Mutabor is also responsible for individual design elements. Other partners in the project are PARAT, die Krieger des Lichts and CD-Plan.
