The Detroit Motor Show is heavily influenced by the new Audi A8, which with its technology, precision, high quality and elegance is the inspiration for the fair stand and the media show. The Aluminium Space Frame, which makes the Audi A8 lighter than its competitors, is the model for the suspended trade-fair architecture. Like a huge punched-out wing, it hovers as a lightly-constructed gesture above the vehicles and defines the Audi brand space. The precision and quality conveyed by the architecture, perfected down to the last detail and seemingly all made using the same mould, is also typical of the Audi A8.
